Dantherm DanX 2HP: Purpose-Built for Aquatic Spaces

The centrepiece of the installation is the DanX 2HP air-handling and dehumidification unit, selected specifically for its high energy efficiency, reliable continuous-duty performance, precision temperature and humidity control, and proven suitability for indoor pools and wellness facilities. This system ensures the P3 Recovery pool hall maintains a stable, comfortable, and healthy indoor climate.

Ductwork & Air Distribution

In the plant room, Zenith Ventilation installed galvanised steel spiral ductwork, externally lagged with high-performance thermal insulation. This protects against energy loss, improves system efficiency, and ensures long-term durability in a high-moisture environment.

Custom Aerotextile Fabric Duct System

Inside the indoor swimming pool facility, a bespoke aerotextile fabric duct, custom manufactured in France, was suspended along the central axis of the space. This specialised ductwork was engineered to deliver uniform and consistent airflow across the pool hall, balanced air dispersion to both sides of the wellness pool, condensation prevention on interior surfaces, and silent, draft-free air movement ideal for calm recovery spaces.

Environmental Control Objectives

The DanX 2HP system is configured to achieve precise and stable climate conditions, with core objectives including occupant comfort through steady temperature and controlled humidity, operational efficiency reducing long-term running costs, and building envelope protection with moisture mitigation strategies to prevent corrosion, mould, and structural degradation.
